BREAKDOWN
About the show:
Hailed as an icon of style, grace and strength, famous for her allure a piercing sensuality, much has been written and said about America's most popular First Lady, however the one detail usually omitted from the story of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is that she was human. Award winning playwright Tom Dugan's newest one-woman drama, Jackie Unvveiled dares to peek behind the façade of America's most private public figure
Seeking:
Jackie Kennedy Onassis - a name actress with strong theater background to convincingly play the former first lady at two different ages of her life. At age 38; a sophisticated, physically fit, sexually manipulative, volatile, insecure, fiercely protective mother. Fueled by drugs, alchohol and tragedy she is more emotionally vulnerable on this evening than at any other time in her carefully controlled life. At age 64; having achieved a comfortable balance as a mother, grandmother, business woman and entusiastic patron of the Arts, Jackie struggles to put her life in perspective as she faces her own mortality..
