Jackie Robinson – a 28-year-old ballplayer

Rachel Robinson – Jackie’s wife, also Ms. Levitt / Jayhawks Catcher

Mrs. Stoshack – Joey’s Mother, also Woman at fountain / Mrs. Herskowitz

Mr. Stoshack – Joey’s Father, also Man at fountain / Dixie Walker / Delivery Man / Brooklyn Kid / Phillies Catcher

Branch Rickey – Manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, also Coach / Eddie Stanky / Babe Ruth

Pee Wee Reese – a Brooklyn Dodger, also Flip Valenti / Young Flip / Leo Durocher / Reporter / Policeman

Bobby Fuller – a Brooklyn Dodger, also Ant / Brooklyn Kid / Ben Chapman

Please note: all characters play multiple roles except Joey & Jackie

None of the roles will be understudied.
