SEYMOUR: Any ethnicity, 20s-early 30s, vocal range: A2-G4; shy, clumsy, nerdy, naïve, but likable and well-meaning, hidden depths of love and courage that emerge as the show moves along
MR. MUSHNIK: stereotypical Jewish character, speaks lots of Yiddish, late 40s-60s; vocal range: G2- G4; gruff and blustery exterior but inside he’s slightly less grumpy, a basically good person who has always struggled and is easily tempted by wealth and fame
ORIN SCRIVELLO: Any ethnicity, 30s, vocal range: G2-G4; a sadistic dentist: narcissistic, arrogant, and abusive, yet a charmer in a bad boy kind of way; a strong comic edge, Doubles as several other brief but high-impact cameo roles, including: MR.
