Seeking (all listed roles/positions are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted)):

J B Biggley:

40s–60s. Gruff and a bit blithering – struggles to appear in control. Lusts after the bombshell Hedy La Rue. Character baritone with the hidden soul of a crooner.

Hedy La Rue:

30s. Cunning bombshell. Gorgeous woman who uses her looks and sexuality to get what she wants.

Bud Frump:

20s–30s. Conniving nephew of the boss. Will do anything to get a promotion. Jealous of Finch and anyone else who stands in his way. Character-ful high baritone or tenor with a commanding G; an unexpected dramatic soprano.

Miss Jones:

30s–50s. The head secretary. Tyrant who relishes her limited authority and lords it over the other employees. Character soprano and/or high belty mix.

Twimble / Whomper:

40s-60s. Two roles played by one actor. Twimble: Head of the mailroom at World Wide Wickets for 25 years; consummate “company man”. Whomper: The BIG BOSS. Self-made man. No nonsense or pretense. Strong character baritone.

Bert Bratt:

30s-50s. Director of Personnel at World Wide Wickets – middle-management executive; “yes-man” to the Boss; will do pretty much anything to stay in good favor with upper management. Character bass or baritone.

Understudy for Pierrepont Finch:

Finch is in his early 20s. Clever young businessman, eager to climb the corporate ladder to success. Has a façade of innocence and charm. High baritone or tenor with clarion G.

Understudy for Rosemary:
Rosemary is in her early 20s. Secretary at the World Wide Wicket Company. Good-natured and sweet, but also smart and direct – knows what she wants and goes after it. Natural middle-range chest or mix to D – NOT A TRADITIONAL INGÉNUE SOPRANO.

Understudy for Smitty:

Smitty is in her early 20s. Secretary at the World Wide Wicket company. Wisecracking and worldly. Sings where she speaks – alto with strong, traditional belt to Bb/C. NO POP BELTS PLEASE.
