SPT SPT-7 (Minimum Equity actor’s salary: $530/week). Local accommodations and $125 travel stipend provided for out-of-town actors.

Equity actors for 1 available role. The other 2 roles have been cast, however actors may be considered for possible replacements if they become needed. See breakdown.
PREPARATION
Please prepare one contemporary monologue of no longer than two (2) minutes. Bring picture and resume.

BREAKDOWN
SYNOPSIS:
An aging, ailing Literature Professor in Nebraska is visited by an Afghan refugee who taught in the same school as the professor’s adopted Afghan daughter, before she was killed by the Taliban. The two unlikely housemates form a friendship through their shared grief and need for forgiveness.
