First Rehearsal: June 9th, 2025
Tech: June 16th, 2025
Opening: June 17th, 2025
Closing: June 22nd, 2025

Arthur (male identifying) - An idealistic, compassionate and generous young King. He tends to be unsure of himself, but serves as a huge inspiration to others and strives to lead based on honor and chivalry. (A2-Eb4)

Guenevere (female identifying) - A young, beautiful and spirited woman soon to be queen. She loves Arthur and his righteous ways, but is suddenly thrown into turmoil with the arrival of Lancelot. (B3-A5)

Lancelot (male identifying) - A self-involved French Knight who excels at everything. A strong, confident presence on stage. A passionate disciple of Arthur and his roundtable, with only one weakness: his love for Guenevere. (A2-B4)

Mordred (male identifying) - Arthur’s son from youthful folly. Mordred hates all the good that his father has created, determined to destroy it. (C3-D4)

Merlyn/Pellinore (male identifying) - King Arthur's long-time mentor. A wizard who ages backwards and can predict the future because he has already lived it. Also, an old and eccentric knight devoted to Arthur. Wonderfully funny and stuffily British.

Morgan Le Fey (female identifying) - Mordred's magical Aunt who casts a spell on King Arthur.

Disney's FROZEN

(Contract: SMTA)
First Rehearsal: July 10th, 2025
Tech: July 17th, 2025
Opening: July 18th, 2025
Closing: July 27th, 2025
KC Starlight, Kansas City Dates
Opening: August 3rd, 2025

Elsa (female identifying) - Reserved, hesitant, and anxious, yet inherently regal, making her a stunning new Queen of Arendelle. However, she has been trained for over a decade to fear and hide her magical powers. (F#3-D5)

Anna (female identifying) - An optimistic, enthusiastic, and slightly disheveled Princess of Arendelle. Naturally funny and courageously fearless, her greatest flaw – and her greatest strength – is her faith in love. (G3-D5)

Hans (male identifying) - The youngest of thirteen brothers, Prince Hans of the Southern Isles is a charming, handsome figure. Anna falls for his open wittiness, overlooking his malicious ambitions. (G2-B3)

Kristoff (male identifying) - A hardworking ice harvester. He has a sarcastic veneer and rough-around-the-edges exterior that hides a big heart. Raised by the Hidden Folk, he loves Pabbie and Bulda dearly, but is a bit of a loner with a reindeer for a best friend until he meets Anna. (G2-A3)

Olaf (any gender) - The magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young. Endearingly delighted by everything, especially the idea of summer. Goofy and sweet, Olaf should possess a childlike innocence and excellent comic timing. (F#2-D4)

Sven (any gender) - The lovable reindeer and sidekick to Kristoff. Funny, loyal, and intuitive. Note: Dancers/Acrobats with strong upper body and core strength and stamina to operate a full body puppet.

Oaken (male identifying) - Fun-loving, teddy-bear, family-man proprietor of Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna. An ardent devotee to all things cozy and comfortable, with infectious warmth and humor. (A2-B4)

Weselton (male identifying) - Chauvinistic, intolerant diplomat, the Duke of Weselton seeks any opportunity to get ahead, seizing on Elsa’s “accident” to spread fear and discredit the royal family of Arendelle. Has a huge inferiority complex. (F#2-D4)

Pabbie (male identifying) - Pabbie and Bulda are the mystical leaders of the Hidden Folk who have a soft spot for strays. Warm and charismatic, he wants what's best for Kristoff, even if his efforts are unconventional. (A2-B4)

MADAME CLICQUOT

(Contract: SMTA second space/Byham Agreement)
***During our Summer Series Auditions, we will also hold auditions for Madame Clicquot, a new work presented at the Byham Theater. This show is separate from the mainstage Summer Series.***
First Rehearsal: May 12th, 2025
Tech: May 27th, 2025
Opening: May 30th, 2025
Closing: June 8th, 2025

BARBE-NICOLE CLICQUOT PONSARDIN (ROLE CAST): A brilliant and passionate woman who revolutionized an industry at a time when women were rarely seen at the helm of businesses. Sharp, clever, loving, brave, and audacious with an unexpected sense of humor.

FRANCOIS CLICQUOT: Smarter than he appears, mostly upbeat but also very tortured. Aches for his father's approval, a dreamer with his heart set on the wine business, suffering from depression while coping with uplifting attitudes. Romantic, bold, and kind.

LOUIS BOHNE (ROLE CAST): A zealous and blunt international salesman, confident yet charming with a dry sense of humor and a golden heart. Louis and Barbe-Nicole connect quickly as kindred spirits.

GENEVIÈVE, THE FAMILY DRESSMAKER: The personal modiste to the Ponsardin and Clicquot households, and best friend to Barbe-Nicole. A sharp and pragmatic woman who sees the world realistically.

JEAN-REMY MOËT: Barbe-Nicole’s business rival from a well-known wine family. Cunning and clever, he tends to act out and can sway the energy in rooms as he pleases.

CLEMENTINE PONSARDIN: Barbe-Nicole’s younger sister, filled with excited little-sister energy. Beautiful and pampered, she is focused on finer things in life, more interested in traditional paths for women. Bubbly, refined, funny, and loveable.

NAPOLEON BONAPARTE: Ruler of France, a brilliant war general. His voice has its own flair. Spent his childhood with little money in a boarding school in Champagne. Hilarious and flamboyant when drunk, terrifying when in power, and increasingly dangerous as the story unfolds.

PHILIPPE CLICQUOT: Francois’s father. A rational man with passion deep down. Owner of Clicquot Textiles, he began Clicquot Wines as a side venture, often undermining Francois out of protective criticism. He sees potential in Barbe-Nicole and becomes a father figure to her.

NICOLAS PONSARDIN: Barbe-Nicole and Clementine's father, socially ambitious and calculating. Joined the revolution for personal gain, prioritizing wealth and reputation. He connects better with Clementine than with Barbe-Nicole.
