Dorothy Baxter - (about 30) Engagingly neurotic, conflicted working mother a younger, blonde Diane Keaton. Belter/2nd soprano range.

Bonkers Johnson - (45-55) Local celebrity and tv high-tech huckster. Charmingly gregarious with rapid fire speak. Not smarmy; a worth love interest for Hazel. Nathan Lane by way of Robin Williams. Possibly speak-singing role.

Ensemble: 5 Men, 5 Women

Ensemble Parts –

The Bonkettes - (Three) Bonkers Johnson's back-up chorines. Young, sexy, with great attitude; ideally, multi-ethnic. Belters/second sopranos.

Sergeant Kreppel - Air Force lifer; world weary, been there, done that. John Goodman-like. Husky, rock voice

Airman Fillmore - Tough, don't mess with her, but never angry, and a babe. Rock Belter.

Mambo Alfonso - Sexy, Latin dance instructor, with the broad bearing of Ricardo Montalban.

Jeffrey - Bonkers Johnson's long-suffering assistant; tightly wired. Jim Parsons

Market Employee - he is young and gawky, but speaks as if he's management, which he believes he is.

Rocco - Affable pizza parlor owner.

Rocco's Pizza Parlor Employees - (20's male or female) Buoyant, fun

Mayor Fremont - Glad-handing politician. (redundant)
