TRACY TURNBLAD:
Female, Caucasian, early 20s. A spunky teenager who loves to dance to the rhythm of the new musical sound. She is a big girl with even bigger dreams. She looks for the best in everyone and as a teenaged idealist she thinks that anything is possible. Seeking a strong singer. actor, dancer.

WILBUR TURNBLAD:
Male, Caucasian, 40-50. Tracy’s dad. He is a romantic, a comedian and a magician. He makes the seemingly impossible possible. He is the owner of the Har De Har Hut Joke shop. He is working hard to give his family a good like. Seeking a comedic musical character actor who sings and moves well.

MOTORMOUTH MABYBELLE:
Female, African American, late 30s late 40s. Seaweed’s mom, owner of her own record shop and host of “Negro Day” on the Corny Collins Show. She is big, blonde and beautiful. She is a powerful woman who is ahead of the times. Seeking a strong singer and actor who moves well
