An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.

The world of Mombasa and particularly the people who frequent the Jazz and Afrobeat club at the center of the show, MOTO MOTO, are a unique intersection of Kenyan identities: People of Black, South Asian and Middle Eastern descent. We welcome and are seeking vibrant, eclectic, non-musical theatre voices with styles that include: American Jazz, African Jazz, R&B, Afrobeat, Taarab, Bhangra, and Soul.
[MOTO MOTO MEMBERS] – seeking all gender identities; Our Moto Moto Members will be illuminated as the vital pulse of the show. Strong singers and dancers in a variety of dance styles and genres including: Modern, Jazz, African, Hip Hop and Contemporary; 20s+; Black, South Asian or Middle Eastern descent; All body types as well as performers with disabilities. Ensemble members will also cover various principal roles in the show.
