good guys; Marty Branahan (50s), close to retirement age, big and brash, street-smart but that’s about
all; Ellen Hertle (40)--as the owner of the local Beauty Salon, she’s learned how to use her personal

from personal experience; Gloria Salzano (60s), a diminutive woman with eyeglasses and a strong
Jersey accent; Marion Tochterman (60s), a customer of Hair Today Salon, a lifelong smoker, and she
sounds it; Otto Beckerman (70s), the go-to guy if you have a broken cuckoo clock or an antique pocket
