[ALLISON]
female, late 30s, the narrator; an intelligent, self-aware adult finally comfortable in her gayness, must be a strong actress/singer with a great belt.
[BRUCE
]male, late 40s. High-school English teacher and funeral home director, a complex man with a hot temper as a result of years of repression; can be caring and attentive to his children but is also quick to anger; must be a strong actor/singer, baritone.
[MEDIUM ALLISON]
female, early 20s, a hyper-intelligent young woman discovering her sexuality, socially awkward at times; strong actress/singer with a mix/belt.
