CINDERELLA'S PRINCE - Vain and gorgeous, he is a disloyal lover who is currently searching for the next new, exciting thing. Male, 30-40 yrs old. B2 - F4
CINDERELLA'S STEPMOTHER - The mean-spirited, demanding stepmother of Cinderella. Female, 40-50 yrs old. A3 - F#5
FLORINDA and LUCINDA - Cinderella's stepsisters who are black of heart. They follow in their mother's footsteps of abusing Cinderella. Female, 25-35 yrs old. C4 - Ab5
GIANT - Voiceover. The Giant's wife is an angry and vengeful 'monster.' She is seeking restitution for her loss. Female, 40-60 yrs old. Speaking Role.
JACK - The feckless Giant killer who is 'almost a man.' He is adventurous, naive, energetic, and bright-eyed. Male, 20-30 yrs old. B2 - G4
JACK'S MOTHER - Browbeating and weary, Jack's protective mother who is independent, bold, and strong-willed. Female, 50-65 yrs old. Bb3 - Gb5

MYSTERIOUS MAN - A mischievous vagrant and nosy meddler. He is a good-natured protector and observer. Male, 50-65 yrs old. G2 - Eb4
NARRATOR - An intellectual and pleasant story-teller who helps to orchestrate the show and illustrate lessons to the audience. Male, Any Age. G2 - E4
RAPUNZEL - A loopy-but-lovely maiden who is sheltered by the Witch and terribly lonely. She yearns to experience the world. Female, 20-30 yrs old. B3 - A5
RAPUNZEL'S PRINCE - Just as vain and gorgeous as his Prince brother, he is always chasing the newest, most exiting endeavor. Male, 30-40 yrs old. C#3 - E4
THE BAKER - ** ROLE IS CAST ** A harried and insecure baker who is simple and loving, yet protective of his family. He wants his wife to be happy and is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness but refuses to let others fight his battles. Male, 35-45 yrs old. Ab2 - G4
THE BAKER'S WIFE - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Determined and bright woman who wishes to be a mother. She leads a simple, yet satisfying life and is very low-maintenance yet proactive in her endeavors. Female, 35-45 yrs old. F3 - G5
THE WITCH - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Sarcastic, ugly-then-gorgeous, obsessive protector of Rapunzel who is straightforward and aggressive. Female, 45-55 yrs old. F3 - G5
WOLF - Hungry and insatiable hunter who takes advantage of the weak by misleading and captivating his prey. Male, 30-35 yrs old

SCROOGE - ** ROLE IS CAST ** an old man whose great wealth has turned his heart to stone. Deaf to the needs of his fellow men, Scrooge must journey through his past to regain the spirit of charity and kindness he had as a young man.
MAN 1 - plays BOB CRATCHIT, OLD JOE – Baritone
- BOB CRATCHIT - a hardworking clerk in Scrooge's employment. Dedicated to his family, especially his young son Tiny Tim. Cratchit maintains a kind heart, even in the face of Scrooge's mean-spiritedness.
- OLD JOE - a ragpicker who scavenges off the dead
MAN 2 - plays JACOB MARLEY, FEZZIWIG, TOPPER, THOMAS - Bass/Baritone
- JACOB MARLEY - returned from the grave to warn SCROOGE of the consequences of living the life of a miser. FEZZIWIG - A kind-hearted bank-owner who helps Ebenezer Scrooge get his start
- TOPPER - A guest at Fred's party
- THOMAS - Married to Caroline, indebted to Scrooge
MAN 3 - plays FRED, YOUNG EBENEEZER – Tenor
- FRED - warm and compassionate, Scrooge's nephew, feels sorry for the old man, yet still obligated to him, being family
- YOUNG EBENEEZER - saving his money and running from a life of poverty, Young Ebenezer is still happy and sociable and deeply in love with Belle
MAN 4 - plays GENTLEMAN 1, SCHOOLMASTER, GHOST OF PRESENT, GRAVEDIGGER – Baritone
- GENTLEMAN 1 - looking for a donation from Scrooge
- SCHOOLMASTER - Young Ebeneezer's schoolmaster
- GHOST OF PRESENT - a large jovial man who wears a long cape and has a wreath on his head
- GRAVEDIGGER - loots Scrooge's corpse/bedchambers

- GENTLEMAN 2 - looking for a donation from Scrooge

- MRS. FEZZIWIG - the cheerful wife of MR. FEZZIWIG the banker. Happy to reach out and help her fellow man

WOMAN 4 - plays BELLE, TOPPER'S WIFE, LAUNDRESS – Soprano
- BELLE - young, lovely, and goodhearted. Truly in love with young Ebenezer, but saddened when it comes time to return his ring.
- TOPPER'S WIFE - A guest at Fred's party
- LAUNDRESS - loots Scrooge's corpse/bedchambers
TINY TIM - the young son of Bob Cratchit. Weak and crippled, but full of true goodness and hope.

OLIVE KING - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Nick’s mother, mid-forties. Recently separated from her husband and moved back in with her parents.
ESTELLE KING - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Nick’s grandmother, late-sixties. A woman of high Buffalo society.
STUART WALKER - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Nick’s father, mid-forties. Graduate of West Point.
SAM KING - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Nick’s uncle, early-forties. Visiting his parents from Florida, grateful for a break from a troubled marriage.
PETE BURKE - ** ROLE IS CAST ** Mid-thirties. Ex-con and owner of a chain of religiously-themed mini-golf courses.

AMANDA - Jamie's supermodel ex-wife.
VICKY - Tad's cousin, a Princeton student, pretty and likeable.
CLARA - Jamie's boss, her hard exterior masks marshmallow inside.
COMA BABY - A newspaper headline who comes to life in Jamie's mind.
MARY O'BRIEN MCCANN - A missing NYU student who appears in Jamie's mind.
CHUCK BEAN - A rambunctious on-the-town reporter.
ELAINE - Oden club girl.
THERESA - Elaine's friend and fellow clubbie.

ELWOOD P. DOWD - ** ROLE IS CAST ** an independently wealthy, educated son of one of the town's foremost families. Elwood is a charming eccentric who’s best friend is Harvey, an invisible six-foot-tall rabbit. Well-mannered, friendly and kind.
MYRTLE MAE SIMMONS - Veta’s Daughter (Elwood’s Niece). Both Veta and Myrtle are about the business of finding Myrtle a man to marry: a mission that is made impossible with Elwood and Harvey constantly popping in. Myrtle is extremely self-centered.
VETA LOUISE SIMMONS - Elwood’s younger sister, Veta has returned to the family home after the death of her mother and is intent on landing a suitable husband for her daughter Myrtle Mae. She is very concerned about fitting into society and all the social proprieties that that involves.
MRS. ETHEL CHAUVENET - an old friend of the family. She is a member of the town’s social circle that Veta desperately wants Myrtle to break into. (played by same actor as BETTY)
RUTH KELLY, R.N. - a pretty young woman who appears to have some sort of love/hate relationship with Dr. Sanderson.
DUANE WILSON - the muscle of Chumley’s Rest, a devoted orderly responsible for handling the patients who will not cooperate voluntarily.
LYMAN SANDERSON, M.D. - A young and highly qualified psychiatrist, hand-picked by Chumley. His talent is only surpassed by his vanity.
WILLIAM R. CHUMLEY, M.D. - an esteemed psychiatrist and the head of Chumley’s Rest He is a difficult, exacting man who will go to any length to protect the reputation of his sanitarium.
BETTY CHUMLEY - Dr. Chumley’s kind and talkative wife (played by same actor as ETHEL)
JUDGE OMAR GAFFNEY - an old family friend of the Dowds and the family’s lawyer.
