Seeking
Adult male and female actors who sing for various Adult principal roles, as well as possible replacements for adult principal roles that have been CAST.

Preparation
Please prepare a short, contemporary pop/rock (preferably British) song that shows off your range. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. All actors should bring an updated picture/resume stapled together.

Rehearsals: On or about January 26, 2015
1st Preview: On or about March 8, 2015
Opening: On or about April 8, 2015

EPA for BOY CHILD roles will be held Sat, 11/1, 2pm to 6pm at Telsey (see sep. notice)

Breakdown

Seeking ADULT actors who sing for the following various principal roles and/or possible replacements for any roles that have been CAST:

J.M. BARRIE
Male, Early 30’s – 40’s. Any ethnicity. A successful Scottish Playwright with a rebellious, childlike spirit that is entirely benevolent. He is at odds with the sensible, restrained world around him. Must have an excellent pop/rock tenor voice a sense of humor, and a genuine heart. [PRINCIPAL] ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED.

CHARLES FROHMAN/HOOK
Male, 50’s. Any ethnicity. A wealthy American impresario who has stood by Barrie for much of his career. Known as “The Napoleon of Drama”. Doubles as HOOK- JM Barrie’s darker, alter-ego with a wicked sense of humor. Must have an excellent voice with a strong bari-tenor sound. [PRINCIPAL]. ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED.

SYLVIA LLEWELYN DAVIES
Female, 20’s –30’s. Any ethnicity. A recent widow and mother of 4 boys, she encourages her boys to be free thinkers and is one herself. Must have a strong pop/rock belt and mix as well as strong soprano notes. [PRINCIPAL] ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED AND ACCEPTED.

MARY BARRIE
Female, 20’s –30’s. Any ethnicity. The wife of J.M. Barrie, she cares about the trappings of society. She and her husband do not share the same interest and live progressively separate lives. Must have a excellent sense of navigating comedy. Must have a strong pop/rock sound as well as strong soprano. [PRINCIPAL] ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED.

MRS. DU MAURIER
Female, 50’s – 60’s. Any ethnicity. A socialite and mother of Sylvia, She holds social etiquette in high esteem and wants her daughter to do the same. Steely on the outside, perhaps to a fault, but wants the best for her daughter and grandchildren. She has a very dry sense of humor. Must have a strong alto voice with pop/rock sensibility. [PRINCIPAL] ROLE HAS BEEN OFFERED AND ACCEPTED.
