This holiday musical sees Christmas through the eyes of a group of Fairy Tale Villains who decide to kidnap Santa Claus in hopes of changing the endings of classic Fairy Tales, erasing all of their happily-ever-afters forever.

BREAKDOWN
AGATHA/SLEEPING BEAUTY
AGATHA is Cinderella’s Stepmother and everything that implies. Devious, self centered, jealous, but a natural leader and the aristocrat of aristocrats. SLEEPING BEAUTY is Aurora. Kind, beautiful, and a narcoleptic. Leading lady Late 20’s to 40’s. An Audra MacDonald type.
RUMPLESTILTSKIN/JACK
RUMP is a scheming, crotchety, highly intelligent, mastermind bent on getting his story changed and willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen. Love, in the form of IMOGENE ultimately softens him and shows his loving heart. JACK is that of the beanstalk fame. Young, positive, plucky and heroic. Potentially a shorter character man in his 20’s - 40’s. A Chris Fitzgerald type.
SANTA CLAUS/BARNABY
SANTA is....SANTA. Jolly, happy, ever hopeful that the good in all people will win out. Has a particular fascination (read: weakness) for high speed sleigh technology. BARNABY is the owner of the pub that the Clandestines hatch their plot in. He also acts as our Narrator so he needs to have excellent language and story telling chops. 30’s-50’s A James Monroe Iglehart type.
MEDOZA/SNOW WHITE
MEDOZA is the envious Fairy Queen, who cast an evil sleeping spell on princess Aurora. The strength of her diminishing powers is especially concerning these days. English is her second language. SNOW WHITE is a peace maker, inquisitive and kind. (20s-40s) A Catherine Zeta Jones type. (Role already cast)
GIANT/THE PRINCES/GEPPETTO/LARRY PINECONE
GIANT, of beanstalk fame, seeks revenge on a little hero named Jack. Often too loud and imposing, he is simple minded and direct. THE PRINCES are archetypical brave, charming, and handsome husbands of the famous fairy tale princesses. GEPPETTO is Pinocchio’s attentive, positive, and helpful father. LARRY PINECONE is an administrative, and coordinating elf working at the workshop, and Santa’s right hand man. (20s-40s) A young Brad Garret type.
IMOGENE BUTTERNUT/ BELLE/ PINOCCHIO
IMOGENE BUTTERNUT is an elf in charge of the Workshop’s Elf Child Day Care Center. She is charming, disarming and confident. BELLE is of Beauty and Beast fame: smart, confident and very French. PINOCCHIO has been enjoying his life as a real boy. To him, everything is new and wonderful. He is grateful and self-less. (20s-40s) A Bernadette Peters type.
QUEEN/ CINDERELLA
QEEN is the vain queen that nearly killed Snow White with her poison apple. She has a tendency to overdramatize and be theatrical. Her fellow cohorts have taken to calling her Drama Queen. CINDERELLA is ever courageous and kind, always the gracious host. (20s-40s) A Robin Wright type. (Role already cast)
ALL ACTORS MUST BE STRONG SINGERS, MOVERS, AND GOOD WITH ACCENTS AND CHARACTER VOICES; Willing to play elves and children as needed.
