LAUREN
Female, late 20s. A PhD candidate in Victorian literature. Passionate about her career—and good at it. Charismatic, mercurial and a bit mysterious. Confident and attractive. The romantic ideas she has about life and love and her perception of reality are diametrically opposed ideals. Constantly soul searching. ACTIVELY SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES.

ALLISON
Female, late 20s. The life of the party – always. LAUREN’s best friend and MARK’s girlfriend. Intelligent and considerate. Has a very conventional outlook on life. Always impeccably dressed and impressionable; she’s perfect but you don’t hate her for it. ACTIVELY SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES.

MARK
Male, 30-ish. ALLISON’s boyfriend. On the outside, he’s the guy you marry – good looking but not too good looking, kind, has a good job he enjoys; the guy everybody likes. His interior self is quite the opposite – spontaneous, seductive and at times aggressive and dirty. ACTIVELY SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES.

CATHERINE
Female, early 20s. LAUREN’s cousin. A recent college graduate. Innocent and malleable, she’s at that post grad place in her life where she’s figuring it all out. A chameleon – trying on different lives to see what fits. ACTIVELY SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES.

RYAN
Male, early 20s. CATHERINE’s boyfriend. A PhD candidate in his first year. Quite smart but has a lot to prove. Inquisitive and investigative. He’s the kind of alpha male who finds other alpha males annoying; he might have a tattoo or long hair or perhaps he just refuses to watch American made movies. In this group, he’s the outside. ACTIVELY SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES.
