Equity actors for female chorus singer parts in ELVIS: THE MUSICAL REVOLUTION.
ENSEMBLE - All ages, ethnicities, gender identities, body types, and voice parts to make up a chorus of character in Elvis’ real life including Precilla, Rosetta Tharpe, Dewey Philips, Jackie Brenston, Roy Brown, and his fans. All sing and dance well.
Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas are not recommended. Singer’s masks can be found at www.broadwayreliefproject.com/singersmask.
Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.
Prepare a cut of a 50's rock, blues, or spiritual song. ALL performers must bring a picture/resume stapled together. An accompanist will be provided, but self accompaniment is permitted (guitar, etc).
