Dr. John Dolittle: A country doctor
Emma Fairfax: Dolittle's niece
General Bellowes: A local landowner
Gertie Blossom: His wife
Matthew Mugg: The cat's meat man
Polynesia: Dolittle's parrot
Straight Arrow: Dolittle's colleague on Sea Star Island
Tommy Stubbins: A local boy, 10 years old
Ensemble:
Men and women to play VILLAGERS, CIRCUS FOLK, ANIMALS, ETC. Actors of all ages, types and ethnicities are encouraged to attend.
