BREAKDOWN
This new work seamlessly explores the lives of the Sicarii, who heavily opposed the Roman occupation of Judea and attempted to expel them and their sympathizers from the area in 73AD, and a group of contemporary Jewish American youth on their Birthright trip in Israel.
A working acquaintance with Hebrew or a great ear for language strongly encouraged.

BRYCE: late teens, Contemporary American, desperately trying with a rat tail. IRVING: 50s-70s, Contemporary American, nosey. DOV: 14, Contemporary American, a nebbish caricature.

ELEAZAR BEN YAIR: late 20s-early 30s, Sicarii, a sociopath who today would be a startup CEO who vacillates between vaguely Eastern-ish-ish philosophy motivational speaker and cutthroat capitalist. BRETT: late 20s-early 30s, Contemporary American, smiles too much. COOL PASTOR: mid 20s-30s, Contemporary American, does ollies for Christ.
