25-35 years old. Caucasian male. Johnny Blood: a hot-headed young cowboy who sings country and western style. Tenor Up to a G. Sheriff Green: Strong silent type. Baritone. Sings up to an F
Sheriff Green -Temporary replacement
30-40 years old. Caucasian male. Strong silent type. Baritone .Sings up to an F.
The following roles are CAST and only considering actors for possible future replacements and understudies as roles become available:
Susanna aka Sister Mary Jo: CAST. - 25-30 years old. Caucasian female. A novice nun and Johnny's sister, standoffish and judgmental when we first meet her but warms up. Both belt and legit soprano. Up to a G.
Bella Rose: CAST. 25-35. Caucasian female. A comically sexy saloon girl in love with Johnny. High belt up to an E. Some dancing.
Father Morse: CAST. 45-60 Caucasian male. Franciscan priest, Irish, drinks a lot. Baritone
Governor Von Richterhenkenpflictgerruber: CAST. 50-early 60's Caucasian male. German, Baritone.
