Equity actors for roles in Court Theatre's 2023-24 Season (see breakdown).
Seeking artists with strong acting chops and lots of range for our upcoming season.
All ages, ethnicities and genders/non-binary artists are encouraged to audition.
Each actor will have 3 minutes in the room. You can use this time to present a monologue (90 sec) and have a quick chat or to present 2 contrasting monologues (90 sec each) or to have an interview. We are looking forward to getting to know you! Please be sure you know what the season is.

Please note: we are in the process of gradually ramping up Equity monitor presence at auditions held at venues other than the Equity audition center. This off-site audition will be facilitated by an Equity monitor.
An Equity monitor will be provided.

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas are not recommended. Singer’s masks can be found at www.broadwayreliefproject.com/singersmask.
Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.
Holding/Audition room information:
The audition room can accommodate no more than 30 individuals at a time.
The holding room can accommodate no more than 20 individuals at a time.
All roles will be understudied.

Stokely: male, a gregarious, charismatic, tall and handsome Black man who plays himself from a young boy to adulthood. Also plays himself at the end of his life, KWAME TURE.

Gloria Richardson: mid 70s, female, one of Stokely's many mothers of the movement
