Breakdown

Seeking up to 6 (six) actors and actresses to play mulitple roles in CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS the adaptation by Jean-Claude Carriere and Peter Brook. The play is based on the Persian poem of the same name and written by Farid Udi Attar. Characters in the play are of Persian/Iranian descent in order to be true to the origins of the text. Actors cast in the production will play various birds and human characters. The production will involve choreography, rhythmic movement and possibly some puppetry.
