APPOINTMENTS
Members may sign up in the Member Portal beginning Monday January 1st at noon. Please sign up on the appropriate day if possible (i.e., do not use a musical audition slot for dramatic auditions unless dramatic auditions are full). Please do not attend both a Musical and a Dramatic audition so the maximum number of actors can be seen.
CONTRACT
CAT CAT Tier 6; $886.50/week (at present)
SEEKING
Classical, Contemporary, and Musical actors for 2018-2019 season. On January 8th from 10a-5p and January 16th 10a-1 there will be an accompanist available for those interested in auditioning for Musical Productions. Chicago Shakespeare is committed to building diversity and inclusion onstage and throughout the organization. We especially encourage actors from underrepresented groups to audition.
PREPARATION
Prepare 32 bars that best shows your vocal range. Bring sheet music in your key. Also prepare one 90 second monologue, contemporary or classical

Chicago Shakespeare Theater runs year round and casts on a play-by-play basis.
OTHER
Under consideration for the mainstage season are: a Shakespearean tragedy, a Shakespearean comedy, a full-length musical, and a British historical comedy. Chicago Shakespeare will also produce a Summer Family Musical, Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks, and a Short Shakespeare! production for students and the public.
EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition.
