Breakdown
Before submitting, please take a moment to read about the unique structure of our guest artist program on our website (http://davenporttheatrical.org/guest-artist-program/). Davenport Theatrical (located in Davenport, WA, population 1700) is the only nonprofit arts organization in rural Lincoln County, WA. Each year, we bring 2-4 professional theatre artists from around the country to Davenport to work alongside and mentor local volunteers. BIG FISH will feature the work of NYC-based director Reesa Graham and two professional actors. In addition to bringing their own talents to the stage, the actors will serve as role models, working alongside a cast of 12 local volunteers of all ages. They will also be responsible for co-facilitating one public workshop. It is essential that our guest artists are excited by the idea of spending 6 weeks hanging out with farmers and teaching them about theatre.
All rehearsals and performances are in Davenport, WA. Travel, room, and board is provided.
