99 Seat Agreement Hourly prevailing Los Angeles Minimum Wage for rehearsal and performance.

SEEKING

Eight actors to play principal roles.

PREPARATION

1-2 minute contemporary monologue; headshot and resume. Actors will be asked to read from selected sides from the script.

BREAKDOWN

Maggie: Woman in her late 20s. Mother of a 3 year old. Feels insecure in her marriage and contemplates leaving her husband.

Elaine: Woman in her late 20s. Maggie’s best friend since childhood. Comes from old money.

Jackson: Man in his late 20s. Married to Maggie. Good and loyal family man who doesn't always know how to express his feelings which at times can be the cause of great uncertainty.

Bobby: Man in his early 40s. Lives life to the fullest. A boundless idealist.

Stacey: Woman in her early 40s. Seeks out peace and comfort through her battle with cancer.

J.R.: Man in his late 50s. Extremely introverted. His son has become his sole purpose for life.

Karl: Man in his 30s. Local bartender at J.R.’s go-to bar. Fairly new to the locale. Genuine and lost.

Benji: Man in his early 30s. J.R.’s son. Lives a busy and hectic life but deeply values family.
