Equity actors for roles in a Workshop of BEGIN AGAIN (See breakdown). Performers of any body type, race, gender, gender identity, gender expression are strongly encouraged to audition. There are no Equity Stage Management positions available at this time.
Please prepare a short cut of a pop/rock or folk song with accompaniment. An accompanist will be provided. You may accompany yourself on your own instrument. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

BEGIN AGAIN
VIOLET (Female, 18+ to play 14-16yrs, Black) Daughter to Dan & Miriam. Sure of herself, smart, an old soul. A budding guitarist. Bold and a bit rebellious. A grounding force for her dad.
The Following roles have been cast:
GRETTA (Female, 30s) Talented but shy singer-songwriter at a crossroads in her personal life. Thoughtful, sensitive, honest, ready to embrace all parts of herself. Strong folk singer.
DAN (Male, white, 40s - Early 50s) Dan is a down-on-his-luck music producer who has seen better days. He is a talented but troubled man, charming, stubborn, often battling with his own demons, including a separation and a strained relationship with his daughter. Strong Tenor rock singer.
MIRIAM (Female, Black, 30s – 40s) Dan’s (currently separated) wife. A lovingly blunt music journalist.
DAVE (Male, 30s) Edgy, sexy, talented musician, but arrogant and emotionally distant. A rising Pop Star easily changed by fame; he’s lost his indie music charm.
SAUL (Male, 40s-50s) Co-Founder of record label with Dan. Professional, savvy, honest, unafraid to tell Dan what he needs to hear.
STEVIE (Female, 30s) Funny, eclectic, gearhead, music nerd and street musician. A sincere, earnest old college friend of Gretta & Dave.
