For possible future replacements in the currently running Tour production:
MALE ENSEMBLE
Characters are 20’s-Mid 30’s. All characters in the dancing ensemble are African American. Seeking appealing, charismatic & attractive dancer/singers to portray various roles, including The Drifters, who are featured soloists in numbers including “Some Kind of Wonderful” “Up on the Roof” and “On Broadway.”
PREPARATION
Men: please bring character/jazz shoes. In case asked to stay and sing, have prepared 16 bars of a pop song from the 1950’s/1960’s. Songs by Carole King, Gerry Goffin, Cynthia Weil & Barry Mann are acceptable. No theatre music please. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. No a cappella auditions. Please bring picture and resume stapled together.
