Argyle Theatre is located in Babylon, Long Island (about an hour from midtown Manhattan, via Long Island Railroad) - theatre provides transportation for all performers. All shows rehearse in Manhattan before moving to Long Island for tech/performances.
EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.

[SCROOGE] 40s to 60s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-G5. A man who lost his father to creditors as a kid and has grown up heeding his father's advice to save his money. Until he realizes how terrible he's become, he is a grumpy, unsympathetic man and has no time for anyone or anything.
[MR. CRATCHIT] 30s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-E5. A father and husband who cares deeply for his family, particularly his youngest son. He works hard to provide for them but is mistreated by his employer, Scrooge.
[TINY TIM] 9 to 12 year old boy, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-E5. Mr. and Mrs. Cratchit's youngest son. He is crippled and sick, but is the definition of loving Christmas spirit. He constantly reminds his family that as long as they all have each other, they will be happy.
[GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT] 30s-40s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-F5. A jovial, larger-than-life ghost who comes back to show Scrooge all the joy, love, and celebration he is missing out on while those around him celebrate Christmas. Doubles as Sandwichboard Man.
[GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST] 40s-50s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-G5. An ever cheerful, sprightly ghost who comes back with the history book of Scrooge's past to show him the events that led to his current state. Doubles as Lamplighter.
[MARLEY] 30s-50s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-A5. Scrooge's former business partner who, before his death, was exactly like Scrooge. Comes back as a ghost in chains to warn Scrooge of how his life decisions will bind him in the afterlife.

[FRANKIE VALLI] 20s-30s, male. A small (5’9” or shorter), tenacious, scrappy kid from a tough neighborhood with an unusually high, clear falsetto. He is talented, hardworking, and determined to succeed. Charismatic and charming; comfortable with narrative text and has a gritty side as well as a polished veneer. Strong tenor with sweet and strong falsetto - must be able to sing in the style of Frankie Valli, comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies.
[TOMMY DEVITO] 30s, male. A handsome, charismatic, smooth-talking operator with a quick temper, Tommy is a born hustler from a tough neighborhood and the essence of Jersey cool. A natural born leader with an appealing, bad-boy quality. A strong tenor/baritenor voice, comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. Ability to play guitar a plus.
[BOB GAUDIO] 20s-30s, male. Boyish and fresh-faced, he is an intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy, smart and savvy beyond his years. Strong tenor/baritenor voice up to a high G, comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies.
[NICK MASSI] 20s-30s, male. A steady, sturdy, lumbering man of few words with a police record and a strong musical talent. Nick is a dreamer who longs for a life after the Four Seasons. Strong bass/baritone voice down to a low E, comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies.
[BOB CREWE AND OTHERS] 30s-40s, male. Intelligent and flamboyant. The genius music producer and lyricist who was an integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons. Quick-witted and very into astrology! Character baritone or tenor (ensemble singing) with good movement ability.
[GYP DECARLO AND OTHERS] 40s-50s, male. Tough, mafioso type. A strong character. Character baritone or tenor (ensemble singing) with good movement ability.
