JACOB LOW
A recently retired lawyer, questioning his Jewish faith and his purpose in life. Fraternal twin brother to Asa Low.
RACHEL LOW
Jacob’s wife, mother of Dina Low. Has known Jacob since their teenage years.
DINA LOW
A devoted daughter to her parents, Jacob and Rachel.
ASA LOW
Jacob’s less successful, unmarried charismatic brother. Their relationship is troubled.
RIVKA LOW
Jacob’s and Asa’s mother, has always preferred Jacob over Asa.
ISSAC LOW
Jacob and Asa’s father
ARAM LEVAN
Jacob’s Father-in-Law, a friend to the family and the family lawyer. Father to Rachel and Leah.
LEAH LEVAN
An ambitious doctor, Rachel’s sister and Aram’s daughter.
GABRIEL MALACHI
A doctor (perhaps as angel).
RAFAELLA
A nurse (perhaps an angel).
HOMER ANDERSON
Head of the hospital where Leah works.
JENNY
Aram’s secretary, who has a longing for Asa.
ENSEMBLE
Various roles: young Jacob, young Asa, young Leah, young Rachel, Reporters, etc.
