BREAKDOWN

SEEKING

Poet/Main Actor
Identifies as Female, any race or ethnicity, 30’s-50’s
Transient. A survivor. A watcher. A story teller. A type of internationalism / cosmopolitanism to them. They could survive anywhere, walk into any town or city and find resources they need. When wars go down, they are the survivors. The information spreaders. Interested in performers who identify as female and/or performers of color who have facility with classical and contemporary text, experience with solo work is a plus but not necessary. There is a large amount of text that is in greek and in verse


Musician/Actor
Male, any race or ethnicity, late 20’s – early 40’s
An accomplice. An aid to the poet who jumps in and out of story as needed. Carries the sonic world of the piece. Proficient with electric and acoustic guitar, and comfortable with improvisation. Some experience with pedals/computer run synthesizer programs a plus.
