OBERON: King of the Fairies, husband to Titania. Majestic, mercurial, powerful, and occasionally vindictive.
THIS ROLE IS ALREADY CAST. (35) HIPPOLYTA: Queen of the Amazons, engaged to Theseus; powerful, stoic, and sharp, not to be messed with. TITANIA: Queen of the Fairies, married to Oberon. Powerful, majestic, resolute. A comfortable sense of authority, a great sense of joy.

(20s) LYSANDER: A young man of Athens, in love with Hermia; Romantic, bold, charming, impulsive, confident, passionate and loyal. PETER QUINCE: A carpenter. Director of the mechanicals’ play. FAIRY. Attendant to Titania. Musician.
(25-45) ROBIN GOODFELLOW: A “puck,” or hobgoblin, Oberon’s henchman; a mischievous sprite. Good humored, a prankster. PHILOSTRATE: Master of revels at Theseus’s court. Musician.
