The Arvada Center For The Arts And Humanities To Hold Auditions For HONK 7/16

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will hold auditions for 'Honk!' on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Arvada Center. This children's theater production will be directed by Billie McBride.
Auditions will be held on July 16 from 10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Auditions are by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling (720) 898-7200.

Auditioners must be 18 years of age or older for all roles. Ethnic minorities and cultural varieties are encouraged to audition for all roles. All roles are non-equity and paid. Roles are available for nine actors. Actors should prepare a one minute comedic monologue and an up-tempo theater piece of 32 measures or less. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key, an accompanist will be provided. The use of a CD or acappella singing is not acceptable. A resume and headshot are
required.

Rehearsals for 'Honk!' will begin Wednesday, September 9, 2009, with the show opening on Thursday, October 1, 2009, running through January 3, 2010. The performances are Tuesday through Fridays at 10:00 a.m. and Noon and various Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., as well as various Sundays at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
