KGNU and the Boulder Weekly proudly present the 17th annual Microbreweries for the Environment benefit on Friday, April 24 at The Boulder Theater.
Since 1993, the Microbreweries for the Environment benefit has raised over $100,000 for local environmental causes. The proceeds from this year's benefit will further the environmental efforts of University of Colorado Environmental Center, Community Cycles, Boulder Valley Inner City Outings, and Tiyospaye Winyan Maka.Eighteen Colorado microbreweries serve their best beers for only $2 each. Participating breweries include: Avery Brewing, BJ's Brewhouse, Boulder Beer Co, Breckenridge Brewery, Bristol Brewing Co, Dillon Dam Brewery, Flying Dog Brewery, Fort Collins Brewery, Great Divide Brewing Co, Left Hand Brewing Co, New Belgium Brewing Co, Odell Brewing Co, Oskar Blues Brewery, Pumphouse Brewery, Ska Brewing, Steamworks, Twisted Pine Brewing, Upslope Brewing CompanyThe evening's entertainment features music by Kyle Hollingsworth and Friends, featuring Liza Oxnard. The opening band is The Pimps of Joytime. The soulful and funky music is sure to go well with Colorado's finest brews.Videos
