Steel Magnolias at Preble Players

Preble Players presents Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. The play is both humorous and heartbreaking, telling the story of six southern women- Truvy, Ouiser, Clairee, Annelle, M'Lynn, and Shelby - who meet in Truvy's beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana.  Spanning three years, it centers on the bonds of friendship of these six women as they navigate life's ups and downs, supporting each other with an outward grace that masks their remarkable inner strength. Through triumphs and tragedies, these women show themselves to be veracious 'steel magnolias'.
