The Calgary Philharmonic has announced its October lineup featuring a range of performances from electronic dance music to space-themed concerts, offering a diverse musical experience for audiences.

Renowned STRICTLY COME DANCING dancer, actress, singer and regular expert presenter on BBC's It Takes Two, Joanne Clifton takes centre stage once again, but this time with her debut album “Like Nobody's Watching.” This dazzling new album promises to be a show-stopping fusion of contemporary songs, all with a STRICTLY twist!

Wesley Johnson—AKA WesdaRuler—knows the highs of artistic and personal fulfillment and the deep lows of struggle and burden. Which is to say, he's like most folks. Ocean Drive is more than likely the first exposure the world at large will have to Johnson and, coincidently, it's no small matter that it's on Ocean Drive that we find him most exposed. The Athens, GA beatsmith has spent years making his distinctly idiosyncratic music which has included time spent making headphone heavy boom bap to collectively conscious psychedelia. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that his voice was ever heard on his recordings and it surprised so many longtime listeners that he was asked more than once who the MC was. Once he unleashed his lyrics, though, there really was no turning back. Although deftly skilled in the lab and a solid producer for multiple collaborations –neither of which have slowed down or show any signs of receding from his heavily scheduled calendar—WesDaRuler is a man, paradoxically, transitioning while arriving.

Lola Ohlala has assembled a little gem of a Cabaret Versatile, putting together, for the Hollywood Fringe Festival, a charming, delightful tale, filled with laughter, gorgeous girls, feathers and sparkle galore, and dancing; lots of dancing!

Navy Pier Pride Presented by American Airlines is coming through with flying colors this year! Kicking off Monday, June 18, the third annual free event will consist of a full week of family-friendly festivities in honor of the LGBTQ+ community, culminating in a daylong grand celebration on Saturday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to midnight. As part of its Pride Month tribute, the Pier will also be decked out with Pride flags all month and feature the symbolic rainbow colors in the center digital screen of the iconic Centennial Wheel in celebration of diversity and inclusion, two essential tenants of Navy Pier's mission and values.

Dogs! Heroes for Love is a dog-themed music and cabaret showcase which benefits Safe Humane Chicago's VALOR program and Prop Theater.
