Plano Community Theatre Shares Its News For the Week of 4/12

Plano Community Theatre shares its weekly news. It is as follows:

Auditions in April
 Music Man auditions will be held on April 11 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. They will be casting adults and youth, ages 7 and up. The shows will be performed at the Courtyard Theatre on June 5-14.

Live Green in Plano
Join them on Saturday, April 18th at Plano Center for Live Green Plano. They are looking for volunteers especially for this event. As a volunteer you will help children make a one of a kind necklace using recycled newspaper beads.  Help all or part of the day. Don't Miss High School Musical 2
Performances are April 17, and 18 at 7:15 p.m. and April 18 at 2:15 p.m. Tickets are $7 in advance and $9 at the door. Box office closes each Friday at 3:00 PM for advance ticket sales. However, tickets will be available at the door. Performances are at 1301 Custer Road, #706 in Plano. Please call (972) 422-2575 for tickets.

Volunteer Opportunities
Want to make some new friends and have some fun? Plano Children's Theatre has lots of volunteer opportunities for you! If you are at least 11 years old, you can assist in the art room, sell concessions, help younger children create art projects at festivals and so much more! Volunteer at a show and see the show for free!
 
Volunteers must submit to a criminal background check and be approved before volunteer hours can be logged. The background check can be printed here and brought to The PCT Theatre for processing.

Summer is Just Around the Corner - Scholarship Deadline May 1
Visit the webiste for details on each camp available as well as dates and times and scholarship information. Be sure to look for the $25 coupon off of a Summer "09 camp when you enroll by May 1st.

PCT Garage Sale is coming the end of April
Time for Spring Cleaning! We are planning a garage sale for April 25th.  Donations will be accepted at PCT beginning, Monday April 19. Please no computers. Electronics must be working. Makes plans to donate and then attend on the 25th.

American English: Beatles Tribute
American English will be performing on Friday, May 8 at 7:30 at Plano's Amphitheatre (off Spring Creek east of Jupiter) Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for youth ages 12 and younger, and $10 for seniors.
