Playhouse Playmakers is a new education program at Westport Country Playhouse designed for middle school students in grades 6-8. Over six Sundays, starting October 13, participants will collaboratively write, act, and produce an original play, showcasing their work in a performance on November 24. The program will be directed by Evette Marie White and Stacie Morgain Lewis, both experienced in mentoring young artists and with extensive backgrounds in theatre. This initiative aims to foster creativity and storytelling skills among young participants through hands-on theatrical experiences.
