Auditions For Broad Brook Opera House's Production Of Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL To Be Held 5/31

Auditions for Disney’s High School Musical will be held Sunday, May 31 from 1pm - 3pm and Monday June 1 from 7pm - 9pm for at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT.

Auditioners should prepare a Broadway-style song of their choice and be prepared to do a basic movement audition.  An accompanist will be provided.

Performance dates are August 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30 (total of 9 performances).

Based on the hit movie, High School Musical is a story about two high school juniors from rival cliques – Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez, a beautiful and shy transfer student who excels in math and science.  Together, they try out for the lead parts in their high school musical, and as a result, divide the school. Despite other students' attempts to thwart their dreams, Troy and Gabriella resist peer pressure and rivalry, inspiring others along the way not to "stick to the status quo".
