Every year the Columbus Civic Theater holds an election. One of the best things about our election is there is no campaigning. The voter merely chooses one of the five choices offered (of plays that will literally fit on our stage and figuratively fit our mission) and cast his or her ballot. We call it Patron's Choice, and Patron's Choice is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you're going to get. Our first annual PC award went to the contemporary two-person drama, The Gin Game; the following year, it went to Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter's The Homecoming. In 2013, Yasmina Reza's witty comedy Art was elected. In 2014, Alfred Uhry's Driving Miss Daisy won. The only way to vote is in person at one of our shows. Voting starts on March 1st, so come join us!
