Beethoven's Fidelio, a powerful political thriller, will be presented at the Lyric Opera of Chicago from September 26 to October 10, 2024. The story follows a woman, disguised as a man, who fights to rescue her wrongfully imprisoned husband, exploring themes of hope, love, and liberation.
