Whether he is recreating the frenzy of Jimi Hendrix playing the guitar, or the roar of a jet plane, his talent is truly remarkable and his versatility admirable and enjoyable for everyone! Director Hugh Wilson and producer Paul Manslanski came to see Michael perform at the Long Beach Theater where he was opening for the incomparable Count Basie & his Orchestra. Needless to say, Wilson and Manslanski were blown away!
Brad WilliamsJuly 16 - 19Comedian Brad Williams has lived a true comic Cinderella story. Born with Achondroplastic dwarfism, Brad would endure countless taunts and gawks from classmates and random people on the street. Instead of crying about it, Brad turned to humor. He discovered that by making jokes about his condition, he could make other people comfortable and get laughs in the process. Stand-up was a logical step for Brad and he began hitting the local open mic nights and coffeehouses. One night at a Carlos Mencia show, Carlos asked Brad if he wanted to do time. After his set, Mencia decided to bring Brad on the road with him as his opening act. Brad has been touring with Carlos ever since, even making a few appearances on The Mind of Mencia on Comedy Central.

Jeffrey RossJuly 31 - August 1Jeffrey Ross' (a.k.a. the Roastmaster General) show stopping performances at celebrity roasts honoring some of America's favorite stars such as William Shatner, Hugh Hefner, Flava Flav, and Pamela Anderson inspired New York Magazine to crown him The Meanest Man in Comedy and MTV to introduce him as "a one man verbal assault unit." The New York Times recently called Jeff an heir apparent to such old-school masters as Buddy Hackett and Rodney Dangerfield. Jeff's directorial debut, Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie, screened at many top festivals and even won Best Picture at the Montreal Comedy Festival.
