Single tickets are now available for the Harris Theater's 2019-20 presenting season, featuring exclusive projects, Chicago debuts, and emerging artists from around the world.

The 2019-20 HTP Mainstage season features: the Chicago debut of Australia's Bangarra Dance Theatre, weaving contemporary dance with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage; Sir John Eliot Gardiner and Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique performing all nine Beethoven symphonies over five days; the celebrated Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch performing in Chicago for the first time in the company's history; Max Richter and American Contemporary Music Ensemble (ACME) in an evening of works by the prolific composer; and a celebration of Lar Lubovitchwith works spanning his 50 years as a choreographer, performed by artists from The Joffrey Ballet, The Martha Graham Company, and Ballet Austin, as well as Chicago dancers Jonathan Alsberry, Craig Black, and Andrew Murdock.

The Theater's Mix at Six and Exelon Family Series will continue to bring diverse voices to its stage in Millennium Park, in an informal, inclusive setting. Mix at Six - 6 p.m. performances with food pop-ups, specialty cocktails, and opportunities to meet the artists - will feature jazz pianist Matthew Whitaker, Chicago native Amir ElSaffar with his Two Rivers Ensemble and a special appearance by jazz students from Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts), circus arts company FLIP Fabrique, and the U.K.'s Kingdom Choir. The Kingdom Choir, FLIP Fabrique, and Bangarra Dance Theatre will also perform on theFamily Series, with matinee programs designed to engage young audiences.

The season will open with the second annual Summer Jazz concert on the Harris Theater Rooftop, featuring New York-based saxophonist Lakecia Benjamin and her band SoulSquad. The fall will also feature two special collaborations just announced. In September, Bali's Gamelan Çudamani will make their Chicago debut, co-presented by the Harris Theater and the DCASE World Music Festival, and December will bring a world premiere performance from Robyn Mineko Williams. The new work, Echo Mine, was inspired by and created alongside late Chicago dance icon Claire Bataille, one of four founding members of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and longtime director of the Lou Conte Dance Studio.

The Theater's robust chamber music programming also continues next year with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's ninth season in residence at the Harris, and a debut performance by Michael Barenboim and the newly formed West-Eastern Divan Ensemble.

Single tickets start at $10 for the Exelon Family Series, $15 for Summer Jazz and Mix at Six, and $20 for Echo Mine. Single tickets for the Chamber Music Series and HTP Mainstage performances are $30-145.
