Patsy's Italian Restaurant (well known for being Frank Sinatra's favorite eatery) presents Jenna Esposito and GEORGE PETTIGNANO in Swingin' Italiano, a special, one-night-only performance at the legendary restaurant itself. There is a $65 cover which includes a 3-course dinner and the show (this excludes liquor, taxes, and gratuities). Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling (212) 247-3491.
In Swingin' Italiano, Jenna and George will transport the audience back to those great bygone days of Manhattan nightclub entertainment on Broadway - where the clubs were hot, the singers were cool, and the atmosphere was outrageous! Featuring songs made famous by some of the most beloved Italian-American singers of the last century (Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Connie Francis, Bobby Darin, Bobby Rydell, and, of course, Frank Sinatra), the show promises to be a wildly entertaining romp through the "Great Italian-American Songbook!" The talented band includes Fortune Esposito on guitar; David Crone on piano; and Brian Broelmann on tenor sax, accordion, and mandolin. Joining Mr. Pettignano on sound, sax, and vocals will be Tommy Sax of Saxappeal. With chef Sal Scognamillo in charge of the kitchen, attendees can also look forward to a delectable Italian meal!
Jenna Esposito made her New York nightclub debut in August 2004 and has since performed shows at many of Manhattan's top clubs, including The Metropolitan Room and Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Her shows Jenna Esposito Sings Connie Francis and That's Amore: Jenna Sings Love, Italian Style have both received critical acclaim and will be seen in different venues around the country in the coming year. Jenna's recordings, To Connie...Love, Jenna (a live recording of her Connie Francis tribute) and 13 Men...and Me! have been played on radio stations across the country and are available at iTunes and CDBaby.com. Following his movie career, George headed back to NYC, where he continues to entertain and delight audiences with his electrifying singing, style, and presence. Founded in 1944 by Pasquale "Patsy" Scognamillo, Patsy's Italian Restaurant has been in its current and only theater district location (in the building just next to the original site) since 1954. In over 66 years of existence, Patsy's Italian Restaurant has had only three chefs--the late Patsy himself, his son Joe Scognamillo, who has been at the establishment since the tender age of seven, and Joe's son Sal Scognamillo, who has been manning the kitchen for the past 25 years. Patsy's Italian Restaurant has been known for years as Frank Sinatra's favorite restaurant, and in fact, his family still enjoys dining at Patsy's Italian Restaurant whenever they are in town. In addition to Sinatra and family, Patsy's Italian Restaurant has become a favorite with countless stars on both the east and west coast, who have come to regard Patsy's Italian Restaurant as a mecca of Italian fine dining.
