New York personalities, style icons and real estate 'superbrokers' Tom Postilio & Mickey Conlon hosted The Sinatra 100 Holiday Spectacular at the Edison Ballroom on Tuesday, December 8th. Their annual holiday spectacular honored Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday and the evening was pure magic. The Sinatra 100 Holiday Spectacular was the first of many celebrations taking place across the country.

The evening also raised awareness for the Great American Songbook Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and educate by celebrating the Great American Songbook. The organization was founded by Michael Feinstein in 2007. Tom Postilio serves on the Board of Directors, a national group of dedicated volunteers who work to protect, preserve and promote "America's Music." Tom & Mickey presented Michael Feinstein with a donation check for $5,000 for the Great American Songbook Foundation.

Walking the red carpet at the event were Christine Ebersole, Michele Lee, Gloria Reuben, Mario Buatta, Rex Reed and Alexander Smalls. We asked Christine Ebersole about Sinatra's incredible contributions to American music. She commented, "He could really convey emotions. Sinatra is the greatest song stylist ever."

Tom & Mickey are Frank Sinatra enthusiasts and chose to honor his life and music in an evening dedicated to the style in which "Old Blue Eyes" lived his life. The talented duo performed classic Sinatra favorites like "The Lady is a Tramp" accompanied by the 16-piece "Sinatra 100 Orchestra." Tom and Mickey also shared some clever Sinatra quotes including his well-known statement, "I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day." A brief video was shown from the mid-1960's when "The Chairman of the Board" made a big comeback

The Sinatra memorabilia gallery had a pair of snowshoes that Sammy Davis, Jr. gave to Frank Sinatra when he purchased his first home in Palm Springs. There were cufflinks that were hand-painted by the legendary crooner, the first drawing done of Sinatra by Al Hirschfeld, and a lithograph of Sinatra's "Desert," number 12 of 100, signed by Sinatra, which he had made as gifts exclusively for friends and family.

Thanks to Tom & Mickey's extraordinary talent, The Sinatra 100 Holiday Spectacular was a dazzling event, perfectly executed. It was a true tribute to the life and legacy of one of America's most revered performers, Frank Sinatra.
