discovery+ Picks Up Werner and Rudolph Herzog Doc LAST EXIT: SPACE

Discovery announced TODAY that it picked up LAST EXIT: SPACE - a new, out-of-this-world documentary exploring mankind's push to colonize space from legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man, Encounters at the End of the World, Into The Inferno, Fireball: Visitors From Darker Worlds), who is set to narrate and executive produce, and his son Rudolph Herzog (How to Fake a War, The Heist), who is director of the film. Gunpowder & Sky (Everybody's Everything, 69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez), along with Spring Films (Oscar-nominated, Emmy and BAFTA-winning Fireball, Night Will Fall, The Act of Killing) and Taglicht Media (Propaganda: The Art of Selling Lies) are signed on to co-produce the feature, which will stream later this year on discovery+.

LAST EXIT: SPACE promises to take audiences on a spectacular voyage across our planet, out into the stars and beyond our dreams. More than 7 billion humans walk this Earth.
