It's official: Jason Sudeikis will not be returning to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
Sudeikis, who's been with the show for 10 years (two as a writer, eight as a performer,) confirmed the news in an interview on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, airing tonight.
"I'm definitely done," he said during the taping. "I'm not coming back next fall."
Sudeikis marks the third SNL performer that won't be returning for the show's 39th season. Bill Hader and Fred Armisen confirmed their own exits earlier this year. Seth Meyers, who's prepping to take over for Jimmy Fallon on LATE NIGHT, will also walk away from the Weekend Update desk before 2014.
Last summer, Sudeikis hinted to Men's Journal that he may not be returning for the upcoming season - though long-time SNL producer Lorne Michaels convinced him to stay on to impersonate Mitt Romney during the 2012 election.
