Michael Cyril Creighton's award winning online sitcom "JACK IN A BOX" about a frustrated theatre box office manager, currently in its third season, celebrates its 2 Year Anniversary and releases the 23rd episode of the series, entitled "The Date." After 2 years of watching Jack be a sort of snarky, hapless sad sack, it's possible this little dough boy has found love. Or will he ruin it, just like he ruined that audition to play an Adult Baby on Law & Order: SVU? The episode features downtown theatre favorites Paul Thureen (The Debate Society) and Becky Yamamoto (Young Jean Lee's Songs of the Flying Dragon to Heaven).
The episode is co-directed and co-produced with
Jim Turner.

"JACK IN A BOX" won Best Web Series at the 2010 New York Television Festival and focuses on Jack, a mild-mannered young man with a BFA in acting and no life skills. He took a job at a theater box office because it didn't involve heavy lifting, wearing a blazer or using Excel. A few years and thousands of customers later, Jack finds himself less mild-mannered and less young than ever before. Watch Jack try to manage his anger while navigating an insular universe where everyone is even more unstable than he is. Like all caged animals, he is going to throw his sh*t at you sooner or later... but first he's going to eat a cupcake and take a phone call from his mom. Service with a smirk, that's all you can ask for. Season One focused primarily on Jack's life inside the box, while Season Two found him leaving the box office job and quickly realizing he was always going to be in a "box" of some sort. Season Three is a culmination of both seasons, seeing Jack balance his personal life and work life at the same time...or try to.
