ANGER MANAGEMENT (CTV)

Perhaps the most-anticipated comeback in television history, former TWO AND A HALF MEN star Charlie Sheen makes his much-buzzed about return to network primetime in ANGER MANAGEMENT, a new sitcom loosely based on the hit 2003 feature film of the same name. Sheen stars as "Charlie" a successful yet non-traditional therapist specializing in anger management. He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patients each week, as well as performing pro-bono counselling for an inmate group at a state prison. Prior to his career as a therapist, Charlie was a stalled minor league baseball prospect whose road to the majors was sidetracked by his own struggle with anger issues. After a stint in anger management therapy, he made it to the majors and had one terrific season before his anger issues put him on the shelf for good. In the final game of his career, he tried to snap a bat over his leg, which resulted in a career-ending injury. That injury led him back to school and to his current profession. Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his own therapist/best friend (Selma Blair), an ex-wife (Shawnee Smith) whose positive outlook but poor choice in men frustrates Charlie, and their 13-year-old daughter (Daniela Bobadilla) who has obsessive-compulsive disorder. Cast: Charlie Sheen (TWO AND A HALF MEN) as Charlie, Selma Blair (Cruel Intentions), Daniela Bobadilla (AWAKE), Michael Arden (NURSE JACKIE), Noureen DeWulf (The Back-up Plan), Shawnee Smith (Saw VI) Credits: EP: Bruce Helford (George Lopez), EP: Dave Caplan (George Lopez), EP: Joe Roth (ALICE IN WONDERLAND), EP: Mark Burg (TWO AND A HALF MEN), EP: Charlie Sheen (TWO AND A HALF MEN), EP: Kevin Beggs (Grizzly Man) EP: Ramon Estevez (THE WEST WING), EP: Sandra Stern (The U.S. vs. John Lennon), EP: Vince Totino (Are We Done Yet?) Production Company: Lionsgate Television, Debmar-Mercury, Revolution Studios, Evolution Management and Estevez Sheen Productions

ARROW (CTV Two)

One of the most sought-after new faces in Hollywood, Gemini Award-winning Canadian actor Stephen Amell stars in the new action-adventure drama ARROW. A modern retelling of the legendary DC Comics character Green Arrow, the series embraces a dark, cinematic take on the story of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, who after a violent shipwreck was presumed dead but fought for his survival for five years on a remote island in the Pacific. Once rescued, Oliver returns home to Starling City, where his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson), much-beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland) and best friend Tommy (Colin Donnell) welcome him home, but they soon realize that the Oliver they said goodbye to is very different from the one who returned. As Oliver tries to reconnect with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow - a ruthless vigilante determined to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. First on his list of targets is the villainous and corrupt businessman, Adam Hunt (Canadian Brian Markinson). By day, Oliver plays the role of the wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be - watched closely by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle (David Ramsey) - while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to in the darkness. Cast: Stephen Amell (HUNG, HEARTLAND) as Oliver Queen, Susanna Thompson (COLD CASE) as Moira Queen, Willa Holland (GOSSIP GIRL) as Thea Queen, Colin Donnell (PAN AM) as Tommy, Katie Cassidy (GOSSIP GIRL) as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey (BLUE BLOODS) as John Diggle Credits: EP: Greg Berlanti (BROTHERS & SISTERS), EP: Marc Guggenheim (FLASHFORWARD), EP: Andrew Kreisberg (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES), EP: David Nutter (SMALLVILLE) Production Company: Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television

EMILY OWENS, M.D. (CTV Two)

Set to become this season's primetime darling, Mamie Gummer stars as a sweet medical school graduate who can't escape her high school woes in EMILY OWENS, M.D. With natural talent and breakout roles on THE GOOD WIFE and OFF THE MAP, Gummer has skillfully stepped above being known simply as the daughter of Academy Award(R)-winning actor Meryl Streep. As Emily Owens, Gummer brings effortless charm to her role as a first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital. There, Emily has the chance to work with world-famous cardiologist Dr. Gina Beckett (Necar Zadegan) and not-so-coincidentally alongside her med school crush and fellow intern Will Rider (Justin Hartley). So why does everyone keep warning her that the hospital is just like high school? Emily soon finds out the hard way - her high school nemesis, the gorgeous, popular Cassandra Kopelson (Aja Naomi King), is also just starting out at Denver Memorial, and it seems like they're rivals all over again - not only as surgical interns, but for Will's attention. Emily's the new kid again, and it's just as awkward as high school. Only this time around, Emily has to balance the personal and emotional turmoil of social politics with the high-stakes world of life-and-death medical decisions. At least she has fellow intern Tyra (Kelly McCreary), and nerdy-but-cute resident Micah (Michael Rady), to count on as friends. Emily is going to realize that although she may be a geek, she may also grow to be a great doctor. Cast: Mamie Gummer (THE GOOD WIFE) as Emily, Justin Hartley (SMALLVILLE, PASSIONS) as Will, Michael Rady (THE MENTALIST) as Micah, Aja Naomi King (PERSON OF INTEREST) as Cassandra, Kelly McCreary (WHITE COLLAR) as Tyra, Necar Zadegan (A GIFTED MAN) as Gina Credits: EP: Jennie Snyder Urman (90210), EP: Dan Jinks (PUSHING DAISIES), EP: Bharat Nalluri (TSUNAMI) Production Company: CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television

NASHVILLE (CTV Two)

From Academy Award(R)-winning screenwriter CALLIE KHOURI (Thelma and Louise), comes the powerful new big-budget drama NASHVILLE, a story of love, sex, power, money, music and family. At the centre of it all, critically-acclaimed actress and fan-favourite Connie Britton brings her Emmy(R)-nominated talents to the role of Rayna James, a country legend who's had a career any singer would envy. Lately her popularity is starting to wane and her record label thinks a concert tour, opening for aggressive up-and-comer Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), is just what Rayna needs. Singing for her role, Panettiere sinks her teeth into the character of scheming Juliette who can't wait to steal Rayna's spotlight. Sharing a stage with that disrespectful, untalented, little vixen is the last thing Rayna wants to do, which sets up a power struggle for popularity. Complicating matters is Rayna's wealthy but estranged father, Lamar Hampton (Powers Boothe), a powerful force in business, Tennessee politics, and the lives of his two grown daughters. His drive for power results in a scheme to back Rayna's handsome husband, Teddy (ERIC CLOSE), in a run for Mayor of Nashville, against Rayna's wishes. Cast: Connie Britton (AMERICAN HORROR STORY, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS) as Rayna James, Hayden Panettiere (HEROES) as Juliette Barnes, Powers Boothe (24) as Lamar, Charles Esten (BIG LOVE) as Deacon, ERIC CLOSE (WITHOUT A TRACE) as Teddy, CLARE BOWEN (HOME AND AWAY) as Scarlett, Jonathan Jackson (GENERAL HOSPITAL) as Avery, Sam Palladio (EPISODES) as Gunnar and Robert Wisdom (BURN NOTICE) as Coleman Credits: EP: Jim Parriott, EP: CALLIE KHOURI (Thelma & Louise), EP: R.J. By day, Grace deals with the emotionally compelling cases at the hospital, but she must also juggle an onslaught of mob-related medical demands, all the while keeping her dual life a secret from everyone including her handsome, blue-blooded boyfriend Dr. Brett Robinson. The only people who know the true scope of Grace's activities is her ex-boyfriend Franco, and the charming and diabolical Southside mob boss Constantine, an oddly compassionate killer whose relationship with Grace is more than it seems. As Grace tries to heed the demands of these two conflicting worlds, it's her nerves of steel and a tough-as-nails exterior that somehow has her managing to make it all work - at least for now. During an interview, Clark reflects on his hard-fought journey from street kid to the most powerful man in law enforcement after only three years as a beat cop. Disappointed to be partnered with veteran Detective Don Owen (Chi McBride), a gruff lifer just two years shy of retirement, Clark would rather team with first grade detective Christian Arroyo (Kevin Alejandro), the alpha dog in the squad who shares his ambitions. Arroyo's partner is Detective Deborah McKenzie (Bonnie Somerville), a tough third-generation cop and the only female detective in the unit. Though laser-focused on moving up the ladder, Clark's soft spot is serving as the sole caregiver and supporter of his sister, Agnes (Stella Maeve), a teenager demonstrating increasingly dangerous behaviour.
