We might be more than two weeks into the new TV season, but great shows are still debuting left and right, especially if you are partial to somewhat soapy supernatural and superhero shows. Despite being shrugged off as a mostly teencentric network, The CW has some strong sleeper hits, and two kick off as part of Tuesday's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks. From the 10th season of SUPERNATURAL to the Series Premiere of THE FLASH, The CW will be serving up a lot of action and chisled chins tonight. Then late night, Broadway and TV fave Sarah Paulson will sit down with Letterman to talk AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW. What will you be watching tonight?

Every day, BWW TV World will bring you a handful of picks from across the TV landscape. So, if you have nothing to do each night, check in with us, and we will tell you the best ways to spend your primetime hours.

Tuesday, October 7th

All times are Eastern

THE FLASH | 8:00-9:00pm | The CW
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

Outside of HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, few show have had the buzz that The CW's ARROW spin-off has. Already being lauded as the fall's breakout hit (by CW standards at least), the superhero show stars musical theatre alums Grant Gustin (WEST SIDE STORY tour, GLEE) as "The Flash" Barry Allen and Jesse L. Martin (RENT, LAW & ORDER) as his father figure Detective Joe West. Get prepped for the new show by reading Misha Davenport's preview here.

SELFIE | 8:00-8:30pm | ABC
By: Dylan Siegman | @Dsiggy15

After watching the official broadcast of the premiere episode last week, I was more excited for this show than I was after I watched the episode online. Thankfully, they toned down Eliza's annoying quirks and Henry's uptightness. John Cho and Karen Gillan make a hilarious, and extremely good looking, comedy duo. I'm really interested to see where the story goes. I just can't wait to see who they get to play Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

SUPERNATURAL | 9:00-10:00pm | The CW
By: Kara McCoy | @i_got_the_tweet and Erin Resnick | @enr702

The boys are back in town and ready to resume the family business: y'know, "saving people, hunting things." Well, maybe not just yet. Life is never that easy for the Winchesters, and now that Dean's a demon, little brother Sam may be facing his biggest challenge ever. How is he going to save the Dean this time? And can he do it before the "Deanmon" and Crowley cause too much mayhem? Elsewhere in the episode, Castiel confronts his diminishing grace. Check out Erin's season preview here.

THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN | 11:35pm-12:35am | CBS
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

You loved her on Broadway in THE GLASS MENAGERIE, you loved her on STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP even though the show was monumentally disappointing, and you have loved her on every season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, now Sarah Paulson will sit down with Dave and talk about FREAK SHOW. Who's excited to stay up late with Sarah? I am! There will also be some guy named Robert Downey Jr. on the show tonight too.
