Wedding bells are in the air on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES as Jo and Alaric were forced into a bachelor/bachelorette weekend, meaning a bunch of supernatural creatures were throwing the to-be newlyweds parties involving strippers, loud, raging parties, and non-alcoholic milkshakes.

Elena and Damon were at a stalemate in the cure department and both Bonnie and Alaric were hesitant as Elena was unsure of what she wanted and Damon kept trying to convince himself that being human with Elena was his final choice. Alaric quickly reminded him, though, that taking the cure meant he could never become a vampire again (who made up that rule?)

Stefan was trying to get ahold of an MIA Caroline when Enzo popped in to get Stefan to spend some quality mother and son time as Lily was back in ripper mode. Stefan was less than thrilled to help his mother as he was privy to her deception.

Matt taunted Tyler about his police training and how he had been angry and violent lately. This fight only riled Tyler up even more and he refused to go back to life as a wolf. Over at the lonely diner of three, Bonnie and Jo debated whether or not Elena and Damon should take the cure together. Elena was worried that being human would make her fall out of love with Damon, but Jo quickly reminded Elena that just because she was a vampire didn't mean she was a completely different person (who else wishes Jo could have met pre-vampire Elena?)

Stefan tried to get Lily to find other ways to divert her blood lust in the form of liquor. Stefan was ready to subdue her with vervain when she called him out on his horrible lying techniques and munched on the nearest waitress. Enzo finally showed up to help Stefan with Lily, and informed him on Damon's plan to take the cure.

Lily dropped by the diner to crash Jo's party and confront Bonnie. She was adamant that Lily leave and tried to stop her, but Lily stabbed Bonnie and came seconds away from eating Jo when she shouted she was pregnant. Lily instantly stopped to listen when she heard two little heartbeats coming from Jo; the Gemini witch was pregnant with twins.

Damon took Elena to a hallucination of her old house, to the porch where they first kissed, and presented her with the cure. They talked of their future together and Elena made the decision to finally take the red liquid-filled capsule. The liquid took her over and she began to remember everything about her and Damon that she had lost; the cure had undone the compulsion. To make sure it really worked, Elena pricked her finger and watched as blood appeared and didn't heal - she was human again.

Lily found Damon and Elena, breaking Damon's neck and ready to suck the cure out of Elena. Elena stabbed her with her cute, pink bachelorette party pin and ran, but all her memories flooding back to her were making it hard to concentrate on escaping Lily's wrath.

Jo tried to save Bonnie while Stefan angrily confronted Damon about the cure. It didn't get any better when Lily blamed Stefan and Damon for her problems, picking up a stake, ready to kill herself. Stefan pleaded with his mother, promising that he still cared about her; her hesitation giving the brothers enough time to finally inoculate their matriarch.

At the hospital, while Damon fed Bonnie his blood, Jo showed Alaric her latest ultrasound with two little Saltzman babies. Jo was worried about her coven finding out about the babies and forcing them into a merge and Alaric decided that the two would leave town and start new somewhere safe, where the Gemini's couldn't find them.

Elena had returned to the House of Hunks when she confessed to Damon that all her memories had returned, including the one when she had first asked Damon to take the cure with her and he rejected her. She wasn't going to let Damon take the cure when they both knew deep down that he enjoyed being a vampire.

Stefan once again came face-to-face with Lily, now locked up in the Salvatore basement-dungeon, and expressed his hope that one day she would love them like her own again. Lily was furious, promising to find a way to release her witchpire friends. At the same time in 1903 prison, a vampire bitten Kai was cooking up a feast for his new Heretic friends.

Things we need to discuss:

- All of these fake hallucinations being implanted lately (first with Caroline and now with Elena) are disconcerting. Will they end up coming into big play in the season finale? Will that have something to do with Elena's departure? I will always commend what Damon did for Rose, taking her back to a happy, human memory right before she died, but that was brief and sweet. I would hate to see Elena wind up with a bunch of fake memories or locked in a world inside her head.

- What is Tyler and Matt's deal anymore?

- Can someone please refer me to a TVD timeline as I'm still under the belief that they're at least two years behind us and half of them are still very much underage and shouldn't illegally be attending huge ragers (especially those participating in police training.)

Will Damon suck the cure out of Elena? Will Kai and his new besties be released soon? Will you all throw me a wild party with strippers when I get married? Comment below or tweet me @enr702 or find me live-tweeting the epiosde @erinrlivetweets.
