I read a book on demon exorcisms once. It was 2,304 pages long and written all in Latin, but I got the gist of it, naturally. The way to exercise a demon is simple: subject your possessed loved on to blessed flaming hot Cheetos and 100 consecutive hours of DAWSON'S CREEK and voila, demon gone.
Sam Winchester took a different path on this week's new, Jensen Ackles directed episode of SUPERNATURAL as he continued to fight for Dean's life. Sam's way included injecting Dean with blessed blood and painfully waiting for his human side to regain consciousness. Except, Deanmon liked his new form and fought to stay a sassy demon, even going as far as blaming Sam for the death of their mother and calling their father a horrible person who only brainwashed his sons. If that wasn't enough, Deanmon confessed to Sam that he knew the measures his brother had taken in order to track him down. The guy whose soul Dean was suppose to collect for Crowley? You know, the one Dean murdered instead of his wife? It turned out the man had been originally coerced by Sam to summon a Crossroad Demon so Sam could finally have a face-to-face with a Hell servant to learn Dean and Crowley's whereabouts.
Speaking of Hell, Crowley had returned to his position as King of Hell thinking it would make his life joyous once more. Unfortunately, he was too busy day-dreaming about his ex-bestie to notice his demon minions were growing annoyed by his reckless actions. In a move of irony, a demon stepped forward condemning Crowley's actions, setting himself on fire in rebellion (but not before referring to Dean as Crowley's "boy-toy").
On the angel side, Castiel's health was failing as he and Hannah headed towards the bunker to help Sam. A stop along the way revealed just how concerned Hannah was for Cas as he called her an emotional distraction from their mission. Their feelings weren't reconciled before Adeena, the rogue angel, showed up at a roadside gas station to make Hannah and Castiel pay for the death of her boyfriend. Fortunately for both angels, Crowley had popped up to save the day. The King of Hell extracted Adeena's grace, lamented: "Why can't you people just sit on clouds and play harps like you're suppose to," and killed the rogue angel. He quickly fed the newly stolen grace to Castiel, saving his life, and sending them to help save Dean.
Down in the bunker, Dean had escaped his restraints and was on the move to hunt down Sammy. The two went head-to-head as Dean went after his brother with a hammer and Sam, demon knife in hand, sought to protect himself. It seemed Sam had the upper hand, but not before Castiel swooped in to save Dean, returned him to Sam's control, and injected him with one more life saving shot of human blood. Peace out, Deanmon.
Though Dean had now returned to his guilt-ridden human form, Castiel was still worried that the Mark of Cain would overpower Dean once again. Sam was too tired to worry about the mark, as he just wanted cholesterol and booze.
In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a mysterious, fiery redhead sat by a fire and sipped wine while she gazed above in delight at two dead bodies pinned to the ceiling.
